Breakfast is signed Forno d'Asolo on the new flagship Costa Cruises
Forno d' Asolo signs breakfast during presentation of new Costa Fabulous, the new flagship of Costa Cruises. The number one cruise company in Europe, has chosen Forno d'Asolo to give its guests a good day in the sign of the most delicious authenticity. Saccottini chococream, cornetti with jam, cream and empty: these are some specialties that 2000 of the selected guests could enjoy for the presentation of the ship on the next 2nd July in Trieste with a big gala dinner followed by the first cruise . On Saturday, 11th June at Asolo (TV) exceptional stage for the event was the historic Cafe Centrale, where the pleasure of the breakfast was enjoyed by illustrious figures such as Giosuè Carducci and Gabriele d'Annunzio, Eleonora Duse, Ernest Hemingway, Henry James, Hugo von Hofmansthal, Arnold Schoemberrg and the poet and playwright Robert Browning. Second meeting in Vicenza on Wednesday, 15th June, at the International Library "La Vigna". For the occasion they have been exposed a few precious books of the Library on coffee and confectionery products. Great interest of the guests to discover the ancient recipes of cornetti and coffee, two specialties which are truly timeless. Cornetto e cappuccino: Breakfast was born in Veneto
The cornetti Forno d'Asolo are among the protagonists of the book "Cappuccino and Cornetto" written by Gianni Moriani, professor at the University of Venice. Introduced last 30 November at the historic Caffè Quadri of Venice, the book tells the history of the protagonists of the most beloved breakfast. From the entrance of the coffee in Europe at the birth of the cornetto, 400 years of stories that make of the Piedmont flat the homeland of the first and most delicious meal of the day and makes of cornetti Forno d'Asolo the most prestigious witness of the link between the Veneto and breakfast.
